Bluefin Tuna is the most coveted and ultimately desired in Japanese Sashimi cuisine. This high valued product is also known as the “King of Tunas” due to it’s high oil content, delicate meat, full flavoured rich creamy taste and buttery texture. Our Bluefin Tuna Otoro and Chutoro are expertly selected direct from Japan and frozen at -60 degrees to lock in the original flavour of the meat. We use exclusively Northern Bluefin Tuna since it is the largest of this species and caught in the icy cold waters of the Pacific Ocean, which ensures that the meat retains the highest level of oil and flavour for a deeply enjoyable and fully satisfying sashimi experience.

Our Otoro is from the finest premium top grade portion of the Northern Bluefin Tuna belly. The creamy deeply marbled Otoro is deliciously creamy and melts in your mouth like butter.

Our Chutoro is from the finest premium second grade portion of the Northern Bluefin Tuna Belly. The oil content and marbling is lesser than the Otoro, but it is still creamy and has a highly satisfying taste.
